Pipeline Setup

Your pipeline is the backbone of your sales process. Learn how to create, customize, and optimize pipelines for your specific industry and workflow.

Creating a New Pipeline

Step-by-Step

  1. 1.Navigate to Settings → Pipelines
  2. 2.Click "Create New Pipeline"
  3. 3.Choose to start from scratch or select an industry template
  4. 4.Name your pipeline (e.g., "Sales Pipeline", "Project Tracker")
  5. 5.Add and arrange your stages (see below)
  6. 6.Configure auto-tasks for each stage (optional)
  7. 7.Click "Save Pipeline"

Customizing Stages

Stage Settings

Each stage can be configured with:

Stage Name

Clear, action-oriented names work best (e.g., "Quote Sent" vs "Stage 3")

Stage Color

Color-code stages for visual clarity:

Win/Loss Status

Mark stages as "Won", "Lost", or "Active" to track conversion rates

Probability

Set close probability (e.g., 10% for "New Lead", 80% for "Contract Sent") to calculate weighted pipeline value

Setting Up Auto-Tasks

Automatic Task Generation

When a contact moves to a new stage, auto-tasks ensure nothing falls through the cracks:

When contact enters "Site Visit Scheduled"
Create task: Call to confirm appointment (due in 24 hours)
When contact enters "Quote Sent"
Create task: Follow up on quote (due in 48 hours)
When contact enters "Won"
Create task: Send welcome email + onboarding checklist (due immediately)
When contact is in "New Lead" for 7 days
Create task: Re-engagement call (stale lead alert)

Pro Tip: Combine auto-tasks with email automations to send personalized follow-ups automatically.
